Jordan's Story

Swing For Jordan Foundation was created to honor the life of our beloved son, brother, family member, and friend, Jordan Michael Benjamin, who passed away on December 7, 2023.

Jordan was larger than life. He was adventurous, competitive, loud, loving, and relentlessly driven. Whether he was snowboarding down a mountain, competing on the softball field, or lining up a putt on the golf course, he lived fully and inspired everyone around him to do the same.

In January 2023, Jordan was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive salivary carcinoma that had already spread throughout his body. He underwent spinal surgery to remove tumors, and just nine days later suffered a major stroke that left him paralyzed on his left side. While relearning how to walk, he endured intense chemotherapy in a courageous fight for his life.

Through unimaginable challenges, Jordan showed us what true strength looks like. He faced every setback with grit, heart, and kindness. Even in the middle of his own battle, he treated others with compassion and respect.

For more than nine months, he fought with determination. In his final days, he laughed, shared stories, watched sports, ate his favorite foods, and loved deeply.

This foundation carries forward his spirit. Through our annual golf tournament and charitable efforts, we proudly partner with the Colorado Cancer Foundation to support individuals and families affected by cancer.

Jordan may no longer be with us physically, but his energy, courage, and joy live on in everyone who knew and loved him.
